Study Programmes
Three Programmes, One Clear Direction
From four sessions to twelve weeks — each programme is built around what adults over 40 in Malaysia actually need to read and engage with financial material.

How Our Programmes Are Structured
Curated Reading
Materials are drawn from real public documents and presented in a readable format with glossary side-pockets.
Group Discussion
Each session opens the reading for conversation. Questions drive the direction — not a fixed lecture script.
Concept Mapping
Participants build a personal reference map across sessions, connecting terminology and context in a format they can return to.
Reflection
Each programme closes with a reflection component — the questions a participant now knows to ask, not the answers we prescribed.
Vocabulary of Markets
A short introductory study group focused entirely on learning the words and concepts that appear in financial publications and statements — equities, bonds, unit trusts, dividends, yield, volatility, and benchmarks. The format is small-group conversation around a curated reader, with no individual portfolio advice given. Suitable for adults who feel they should understand more of what their existing providers send them.
- No financial background required
- Curated reader covering core market vocabulary
- In-card glossary pockets for each concept
- Maximum 12 participants per cohort
- Evening and Saturday morning sessions
Programme Fee
RM 540
Reading Annual Reports for Households
A six-week reading group that works through publicly available annual reports from Bursa Malaysia-listed companies, used as case studies in general literacy rather than recommendations. Participants learn how to navigate sections, recognise common terminology, and ask informed questions of their own providers. Includes weekly readings, discussion notes, and a glossary booklet. The programme is educational and does not constitute investment advice.
- Real Bursa Malaysia-listed company reports as case studies
- Weekly readings and structured discussion notes
- Glossary booklet included and yours to keep
- Builds from vocabulary covered in Programme 01
- Facilitator office hours available during the programme
Programme Fee
RM 1,180
The Considered Allocator Programme
A 12-week cohort programme for adults aged 40+ who want a structured grounding in how diversified portfolios are conceptually constructed, how time horizons interact with risk perception, and how to evaluate the questions to ask before any decision. Includes printed reader, peer discussion forum, weekly facilitator sessions, and a final personal-reflection workbook. Participants are encouraged to consult licensed advisers for any individual recommendations.
- Printed reader and structured peer discussion forum
- Weekly facilitator-led sessions with real case material
- Personal-reflection workbook completed across the 12 weeks
- Covers portfolio construction concepts, time horizons, risk framing
- Office hour access throughout the programme included
